Makhulim Metalbrewer – Fighter

Makhulim Metalbrewer, a stocky dwarf standing a mere 4’9″ tall, is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. His grey skin and dark black hair speak to a life spent largely underground, while his sharp brown eyes constantly scan his surroundings, alert for any potential threat. He’s a warrior through and through, preferring the brutal efficiency of dual dwarven waraxes to any other weapon. These aren’t just any axes, though. Makhulim’s prized possessions are “This” and “That,” and he wields them with a ferocity that belies his stout stature.

Makhulim is the protector and melee fighter of The Roving Adventurers exploring Hyebrenia.

Weapons

“This,” the axe in his right hand, is a masterpiece of dwarven craftsmanship. Its blue-tinged metal is rumored to be forged from the heart of a fallen star, giving it an otherworldly shimmer and an uncanny balance. It whispers promises of cold, swift justice.

“That,” his left-hand axe, is a far more volatile instrument. Forged in the fires of some forgotten forge, the red-tinged metal pulses with latent energy. When Makhulim enters a berserker rage, “That” bursts into flames, a terrifying spectacle that mirrors the dwarf’s own inner fire. The flames dance and flicker, fueled by his anger, and refuse to be extinguished until Makhulim regains his composure. This makes “That” a fearsome weapon, but also a dangerous one, as Makhulim must constantly struggle to control the raw power it embodies. It’s a constant reminder of the rage that simmers just beneath his stoic dwarven exterior.

Past

Makhulim’s past is shrouded in the mists of time, like many dwarves. He speaks little of his origins, preferring to let his axes do the talking. One can only speculate on what drove him from his mountain home and into the adventuring life. Perhaps he seeks fortune, perhaps he seeks glory, or perhaps he’s running from something he can’t outrun. Whatever his motivations, Makhulim Metalbrewer is a dwarf who lives by the axe, and “This” and “That” are his constant companions, whispering tales of fallen stars and fiery tempers.
