Good News, Everyone!

Happy New Year, 2021! In an effort to reach more people, be more efficient, and do less work, we are now partnering with DriveThruRPG to bring all of The LeafySeaDragon Inn’s visions to life.

DriveThruRPG is a one-stop shop for all things RPG related, and as such it feels like a natural partnership for us and our goals. You can visit our DriveThruRPG Store by clicking on the DriveThruRPG Image below. Some of the first assets we are bringing to the DriveThruRPG store are the assets for the Hyebrenia and Shalannan Campaign settings.

Be sure to stop in here for publisher or development news, but also please visit our DriveThruRPG Site for maps, adventures, campaigns, and campaign settings. They will begin populating over the next few months.

What have I been up to, you may ask?

Well, I’d love to say that I’ve been hard at work clearing a hundred adventures for publication. Truth be told, due to a “day job” change and my life since then, lots of things had to be put aside…

However, today I’m once again staring to make a push towards getting this site moving!

Hence, today I post my DIY dice tower. I found a free plan from Matt Drake of VixenTor Games and tweaked it a little bit and added our website logo and some public domain PDF tables that I reference a lot as a DM. Here is how my first attempt to work with foam board, hot glue, and an exacto blade turned out.

The Army is Assembling

While I’m having some storm related power and connectivity issues, I figured I’d catalog and re-group my collection of minis.

I’ve recently switched over to the Pathfinder Pawns collection; cardboard minis and separate stands are a heckuva lot easier to pack and transport. Yet, I don’t want to let any of these guys go as each one (it seems) speaks to an adventure of old…

A Change, Of Course

I’ve been mulling this over and now I’ve decided to make it official; instead of authoring games for 3.5E with callouts for PFRPG I will author for PFRPG with callouts for 3.5E.

This means I’ll be republishing Basement Bail Out in a few weeks.

That’s not a MASSIVE change, but the following is: I’m decommissioning the DM Compendium and Monster Compendium and will instead include DM, Campaign, and Monster information in each adventure making them stand alone and more integrated.

I really hope that everyone whose already started downloading the adventures and resources isn’t too upset by this, and it is my most sincere hope that this change of direction will make the adventures being published more easily consumable.

Wait for it…..

So my replacement laptop (oh, right, yeah, my old one died on February 5) should arrive this week and I can get back to editing the final pass for the first three adventures and I can move a step closer to publication.

The biggest hold up is the map editing since the map editing software is licensed to my Mac. Oh, crud… I need to get that reissued!

So while I’ve been waiting we’ve been retesting some of the adventures and finding a few more tweaks to cover.

Another Thursday Night

It’s coming down to the wire for the final revisions of our first adventure to be posted. Be on the lookout for the adventure to be added to the shop as a freebie download for anyone who wants to start to learn about our lands and the campaign at large.
